This story is about two young children, their mother who works the graveyard shift, and their Nana who takes care of them when their mom works. Not wanting to hurt their mother’s feelings, the kids do not let on to the fact that they wished that their mother could work during the day like everyone else’s parents.
I think this book was kind of an eye-opener for my 5 year olds. I guess they are so used to me being home with them that they assumed that that is what all mamas do.
