Grandma’s Purple Flowers

Written by Adjoa J. Burrowes

This book is about a little girl and the love she has for her grandmother. A big hug and smile is always awaiting her at her grandmother’s house. Each time she visits her grandmother, she stops to pick purple flowers, grandma’s favorite! One winter night, grandma passes away. The young girl is so sad that she wants to stay in her room all winter. But, with the signs of spring bring tiny purple flowers, grandma’s favorites, and her heart feels happy. I love how the artwork in the book seems to pop off the page! Read more >>
