Hank’s Big Day ~ Evan Kuhlman

Hank’s Big Day

Written by Evan Kuhlman
Illustrated by Chuck Groenink

Hank, the pill bug, has a big day. He shimmies through tall grass. He nibbles on dead leaves. He climbs a long stick. And, the most fun of all, he plays with his best friend, a girl named Amelia. Pretending to be her hero, Amelia Earhart, Amelia and Hank set off on an imaginary journey flying over the Atlantic Ocean. They wave to the queen of England and barely miss flying into the Eiffel Tower in France.

This is a great story about a girl with an unexpected friend and a vivid imagination! Read more >>
