Cats Add Up!

Written by Dianne Ochiltree
Illustrated by Marcy Dunn-Ramsey

This book is part of the Hello Math Reader Books set and the math concept addressed is addition and subtraction. It is about a girl, her mother, and their ONE cat. However, they quickly acquire more and more cats until they have ten cats. With a huge sneeze, the mother announces that they have too many cats. So, after adding cats to their home, you begin to subtract the cats as all but one finds a new home…until that ONE had four kittens! This is a great living math book that can be used to practice addition and subtraction! Read more >>
